This is the base model Hisun UTV as imported from the Hisun factory in China. This is available for sale as our lower spec model. This is the vehicle we modify for sale as the modified Hisun Elite model.
- Batteries are 8 off 6V dry cell deep cycle batteries sourced from Canada. They are connected in series to give 48V at 2080Ah and a capacity of 9.98Kwh. Thes are half the price of an equivalent LiFePO4 battery but give only about 1/3 the usable lifespan . They therefore need to be replaced after 4 years max and the vehicle range also gradually reduces. However they could then be replaced by EMVC produced Lithium batteries to give a longer total life. The vehicle comes with an on board charger and cable.
- The maximum range ( subject to conditions is approx 70km on one charge. The batteries have no memory and can be charged at any opportunity
- Max speed is 45 Kmph. There are 3 gears to maximise energy efficiency. Direct drive. Front wheel diff lock.
- Power is 30 HP with 298NM of torque.
